Our construction training is a 8-10 week program focusing on community safety, poverty reduction, entrepreneurial thinking, and preparation for careers in the residential and commercial construction industry where employment can be held year-round.

Certifications and Trainings that will be earned and learned:
- OSHA 10 Card
- Bobcat and Aerial Lift Certification
- NCCER Core Curriculum Certification
- On The Job Training with residential and commercial projects
- Blueprint reading
- How to start your own construction business
Perks:
- Transportation assistance is provided on as needed basis
- Upon completion of the program those participants will receive a parting gift of tools
- All participants will be paired with a Job Developer to be placed in a career of construction.
Our previous Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Training class (Dec. 2018) had 100% job placement with an average wage of $17.78/hr!
What are the eligibility requirements for this program?
- Must Be 18 years and older
- HS Diploma or GED
- Meet the income requirements
- Able to complete dayshift training
- Acceptable to drug testing
- Able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Reliable transportation (preferably having a car)
