Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program Starting April 1, 2019

Our construction training is a 8-10 week program focusing on community safety, poverty reduction, entrepreneurial thinking, and preparation for careers in the residential and commercial construction industry where employment can be held year-round.

April 1, 2019 -May 24, 2019

Certifications and Trainings that will be earned and learned:

  1. OSHA 10 Card
  2. Bobcat and Aerial Lift Certification
  3. NCCER Core Curriculum Certification
  4. On The Job Training with residential and commercial projects
  5. Blueprint reading
  6. How to start your own construction business


  1. Transportation assistance is provided on as needed basis
  2. Upon completion of the program those participants will receive a parting gift of tools
  3. All participants will be paired with a Job Developer to be placed in a career of construction.

Our previous Construction Pre-Apprenticeship Training class (Dec. 2018) had 100% job placement with an average wage of $17.78/hr!

What are the eligibility requirements for this program?

  • Must Be 18 years and older
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Meet the income requirements
  • Able to complete dayshift training
  • Acceptable to drug testing
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Reliable transportation (preferably having a car)
