“Is this normal?” You’ve probably asked this question of your mom,
brother, best friend, pediatrician and your child’s teacher or daycare
provider. You may have compared your child’s growth and development to that of
other children you know. You most likely have read all about things to do to
give your child a head start but not sure when to start. In fact, you would not
be normal if you didn’t wonder about what to expect and what to do as your
child grows. In this workshop, parents will be able to identify what is
considered age-appropriate, or ‘normal’ developmental tasks and ways to
encourage and support the various stages of their child’s growth from birth to
pre-adolescence.
